Under my administration the City of Longwood flourished through the establishment of an aggressive Downtown Redevelopment which increased our revenues and allowed for economic growth of the private sector.

We followed in the foot steps of our 40th president Ronald Reagan and celebrated his vision for the elimination of the Iron Curtain and thus the end to the Cold War by the establishment of a sister city with the Soviet…“Glasnost and Perestroika”. I dedicated this effort to my parents...now gone...who had the courage to abandon all at the risk of all in order to bring my sister and I to the shores of a free country that today I call home...
